This fountain is larger than we imagined. There is minimal assembly. Just plug the hose into the pump and set the top two tiers (one piece) into the bottom piece. It really needs direct sun light to operate. Made of real slate, not phony plastic. The integrated solar panel is cool and makes for a finished look. Comes with 2 nozzles, which we did not use. One is a sprinkler, the other is an extender. Without the nozzles the water comes up about 2 inches and splashes down on itself.
