I would rate this 5 stars for its simplicity and charming light show (very bright and intense), except that Amazon neglected to include the promised AA batteries. The description also says it has a separate solar panel but in fact the panel is located on the unit, in the metal casing above the star itself. That said, while I had to add my own batteries, and couldn't hang the star in a shady spot as originally planned, it's still a beautiful addition to the garden and we've enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching its delightful colors.
