Description

  • Stone-shape security light with solar-powered, dual amber LED lights
  • Solar panel charges the built-in battery during the day light by night
  • Automatically turns on at dusk for up to 20 hours of lighting
  • Constructed of a virtually unbreakable fiberglass and resin composite
  • 6-1/2-inch diameter

Light those dark pathways or entryways with the Solar Rock Light for safer walking. Convincingly designed to look like a granite stone, the 6-1/2-inch diameter Solar Rock Light security light sets up with no messy wires or outlets; just set the "rock" on the ground and let the sun do the rest! Designed to charge by day and light by night, the Rock Light is virtually unbreakable (fiberglass and resin composite). Dual LED technology keeps the stone cool while lit. An integrated solar panel charges the built-in battery during the day, and a photo cell automatically turns the stone on at dusk. The amber LED bulb has a 100,000-hour lifespan and never needs replacing. The stone lights the way for 20 hours on a single charge. A handy on/off switch leaves the power in your hands. --Brian Olson

Smart Solar Solar Rock Light - dual amber LED Customer Review

Rec'd at noon / 23rd - had shipped 20th - has [2] 700 NiMh AA Batteries - one needs to open the compartment and make sure they are in place - I put in 2 Moonrays 600 NiCd

Moonrays 97125 Rechargeable NiCd AA Batteries for Solar Powered Units, AA, 4 Pack Have ordered [8] 4 pks and brought back to life 8 Solar lamps/4 indoor sensor lights and 3 dome tap lights.

I had precharged Moonrays with this Speedy Charger for Ni-CD or Ni-MH Batteries that also charges [2] 9v - This charger does BOTH NiMh and NiCd -

Placed over on neighbor's porch rail 4 tonight [pic] - it is a BD gift - lights up perfectly - and very bright [amber] and clearly seen from 65 feet away. Will take pic after all this 17 inches of snow is long gone.

Took the [2] 700 from this and [2] 600 Moonrays and placed in 'dome tap light' inside closet that takes four AA's.

The only drawback was getting the 'tiniest' Phillips head screws out - happened to have size and rec. just unscrewing and lifting cover while screws in place - otherwise - keep tweezers handy.

The other thing that is noted for longer battery life of all solar lights is open the battery compartments every few months or so and spin batteries - Charge only when needed.
